You don’t need to tell us who you are to use Aura Balance. But to improve the app we do collect some data; below is exactly what we collect, why, and how you can have it deleted.
Last updated:
1. Account and identity
You don’t need to register or sign in to use Aura Balance. The app runs on an anonymous user ID created in the background — it is not tied to your real name, email, or phone number.
You’ll only be asked to sign in with Google or Apple in two situations: when you purchase Astra Premium, and when you switch devices and want to restore your subscription. This is only to verify that the subscription belongs to you.
2. What we collect and why
None of this lets us identify you in real life, and none of it is ever sold.
To personalize the app; so the AI can address you by name
Our server (Supabase), linked to your anonymous ID
Usage data (which screens you open, which features you use, your daily streak, your remaining credits)
To understand which parts of the app actually help; to run the streak and quota systems
Our server + Google Analytics (Firebase)
Device and technical data (device model, OS, app version, country, language, advertising ID, crash logs)
To find and fix bugs; to make sure the app works properly across devices
Google Analytics (Firebase), Google AdMob
Subscription status
To unlock premium features; to verify purchases
RevenueCat + the store the purchase was made in (Apple App Store or Google Play)
3. AI features (Spiritual Guide and Dream Interpretation)
The text you write in the “Breath” and “Dream” features is sent to AI providers’ servers so a response can be generated for you. The providers we use may change over time; currently we rely on Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, and DeepSeek. Your request is routed to whichever is available at that moment.
Your conversations and dream texts are not stored on our server; your history is kept only on your own device (and is lost if you uninstall the app). If you’ve entered a name, it is included in the request so the AI can address you by it.
Safety note: Don’t type sensitive real-world information — national ID numbers, banking details, passwords — into these fields. AI chats are not a private diary.
4. Advertising
The free version of the app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device’s advertising ID to select which ads to show you.
Users in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent screen before any personalized advertising; you can change your consent at any time. On iPhone and iPad you are additionally asked for Apple’s tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) before the advertising identifier is used. An Astra Premium subscription removes ads entirely.
5. What we don’t collect
We never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Camera or microphone recordings
Your physical location (GPS) — only general country-level information
Your contacts, messages, or files
Your payment card details (payments are handled entirely by the app store and never reach us)
Your real identity
6. Your right to deletion
You can delete your account and the data linked to it yourself, from the Profile section inside the app.
You can also send an email to askardestek@gmail.com with the subject “data deletion request”, and we will delete all records tied to your anonymous ID (profile, streak, quota history). Requests are handled within a reasonable time, and no later than 30 days.
History stored on your device (dream interpretations, chats) can be deleted individually from within the app, or all at once by uninstalling the app.
To stop analytics collection entirely, uninstalling the app is enough; you can also reset your advertising ID or turn off personalization in your device settings.
7. Data retention
Your anonymous profile and usage records are kept for as long as you actively use the app. Analytics data is retained for the provider’s standard retention period (a maximum of 14 months) and then deleted automatically.
8. Children’s privacy
This app is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe your child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated as the app evolves. If something significant changes, the “Last updated” date above will change; you can always reach this page from within the app.
